Certainly representatives of each side will bring their arguments and try to show the weak points of another concept. Nevertheless this debate will never be finished. I think that the governmental policies are the superior determinants in this issue. USA, countries of past USSR are rather obstinate and social security as the concept is not highly accepted on the national level. In Europe on the opposite side we see, that social protection plays a very important task in the people’s lives, and of course in students’ lives in our case. Having protection from the government, students have the possibility to concentrate on subjects.In times of these processes students do not risk to be put to army or some obligatory service, which will take the learning in a puzzled position. despite there are definitely some negative aspects. First of all, sometimes because of this “relaxed” position students are not motivated enough and as a consequence do not use their time properly and have probability to end up putting a bit too much on their bachelor program for example. If they had dedicated more time resources, they probably would have completed the bachelor degree earlierand therefore would have a time to register for master program before starting their job and therefore enhance their salary prospects.
Thus, you can notice that learning is one of most complicated and challenging periods in life and there are a lot of roads to choose from, it’s up to you to take decision which one to use.
